Superb walking area on the banks of the River Teign. A great hotel with restaurant open to non residents. I just love the suite at the front of the hotel and the hotel sitting room is wonderfully relaxing. Sit by the river and read the paper. Bliss ! A hugely civilised hotel.

This is Merrifield self catering house on the southern edge of Dartmoor. It sleeps up to 12 in high quality style. I took the publicity pictures for David, so I had a good look around everywhere and it's all in very good order. 'Well classy'.
