Stay at the home of our of our Dartmoor farmhouse landladies and be treated to full hearty English breakfasts using free range farm eggs. Bedrooms with views over fields and livestock, a chance to help get the cows in or feed the chickens.

Perfect holidays for all the family. Some Dartmoor farmhouses offer brilliant bed and breakfast holidays to guests.
And most farmer's wives on our list really know how to make cracking home made cake. Some farmer's wives as their children grow up and leave the nest are delighted to fill their homes with holiday guests. Many families come back to the same farm year after year. Because just like the clotted cream for which this county is famous, some things from the Devonshire countryside don't change, and some things cannot be bettered. It's all here waiting for you to come and stay.

This is not a working farm. If you need accommodation close to the A30, then this is ideal. Dogs taken by arrangement.

This is a small section of the Visitor's book at the home of one of our B&B landladies.

When you make a booking to stay on a farm, remember to bring your wellies and some casual, maybe workish clothes, then you can give a hand with feeding the livestock or take a walk around the farm - with the farmer's permission of course. Come down in Spring and see the wonder that is lambing time. Kids love it.
