3 miles out of Tavistock, Susie Pope offers bed and breakfast in a wing of her lovely home. I loved it and immediately thought it was ideal for a honeymoon. A beautiful dual aspect double room with a cute smaller twin room beyond. Private bathroom recently updated. Your own front door, that opens on to the sunniest of balconies overlooking the pretty garden, full of established trees, primroses, bluebells, daffodils and plenty of birdsong going on as I walked round. Breakfast is served within the house in a cosy little sitting room. Walks out on to the Moor and foodie places around. Very nice indeed.
Relaxed country-house hotel with stylish rooms, lovely food, open fires and great walking all around - dogs are very welcome
The Harrabeer Country House is a licensed country house situated halfway down a quiet residential Devon lane within a 10 minute walk of the local shops and pub of Yelverton village. There are 6 comfortable bedrooms all with en suite or private bathroom facilities, an updated bar and good wholesome food with generous helpings. It's more of a small family hotel really. I can recommend it without hesitation.

Totally Dartmoor. Small privately run hotel couldn't be more central on Dartmoor. An excellent choice for walkers. Home made evening meals in the dining room, and I know that the food is good. Dogs are very welcome to stay too. They are used to taking people 'off the road' who want to stay overnight, and then stay on for longer and longer. I'm not at all surprised.
