Moretonhampstead a crossroad town on the A382. It's a busy little place in the Summer months with much
to commend it. It seems there is bunting aloft for a large part of the season, whether to announce the coming of the wonderful annual carnival in August, or for the Moreton food fair. Don't miss a quick look a the almshouses in Court Street, a short walk from the centre.There a dispensing chemist, next to the pub in the photo above, and a Co-op,

Very nice sunny area at the rear of the hotel for sitting out in the warmer weather. Jazz played here in the Summer.
