For anyone needing an extra sense of security, there's an electrically operated entrance gate at Brookfield House
bed and breakfast in Bovey Tracey. With a box to speak into to announce your arrival.

All three bedrooms are well equipped and decorated. With towelling bathrobes to use, all are clean and pleasing.

The two en-suite rooms Fuchsia above and Iris below, are generous and airy and both look out onto the large garden.

This on the left is the shower room for Fuchsia. Laurence has recently restored the old downstairs loo.
The bedroom called Iris has 2 windows, and is the room in which Rob and I stayed in 2006.

Gold fittings, with a short, but deep bath that has a seat within. It's a very comfy bath.... I do know!

This bedroom, Poppy has a very chic private bathroom across the landing. See photo below.

Whilst there is no dedicated guest lounge, guests are allowed to sit on the terrace or in the conservatory.

It's a 15 minute walk into Bovey and there is a town taxi service if you have shopping to carry on the way back.

Children of 12 and over are welcome to stay, and Bovey has a very good outdoor swimming pool.
There's a self catering cottage in the grounds at Brookfield House that was once the coach house.
It sleeps 6. So a party of 12 could be accommodated.
