Stone Lane Gardens is the setting for the National
Collection of wild-origin Birch and Alder trees.
A unique and comprehensive collection of Birches
and Alders -  the best of it's kind in the UK.
The garden holds an interesting sculpture exhibition each year starting early May.

This beautiful specimen  is called
Tea and Crumpets,
and is one of the many superb plants
that you will find at Bowden's Hostas.

Rosemoor  R.H.S. is in
North Devon.
A twenty minute drive from Dartmoor,
but if you are in the area, and garden minded you won't want to miss it.
It's well worth a trip as it is
superb at all times of the year.
Open April to Sept. 10-6 and  
Oct to March 10-5.
Lots of easy wheelchair access
including the cafe and shop

The Eden Project - Less than an hour's drive  from Dartmoor.

Gates open 9.30 + biomes 10a.m. til 6p.m.

open to the public
for charity for just a day or 2 each year.

This B&B is THE PLACE to be when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in full colour as can be seen in these pictures.
