Thursday 3rd July Every 1st Thursday of the month. ¯¯ Blues at The Wharf, Tavistock. Devon Blues Band SmokeStack, are resident. Come and listen, or join in. Amplifiers, etc provided, bring your own instrument. Blues at The Wharf has been going for a year and has developed into Devon's Best Blues Club, with superb music and a wonderful atmosphere. Thursday 3 July 7 – 9pm Hydro  Electric Walk A walk in the Teign Valley at Castle Drogo to learn about the plans for hydro electricity.  Meet at Fingle Bridge car park, grid reference SX 743 899. £4 adults £2 children . Saturday 5th July Don Pasquale by Donizetti - Garden Opera in the superb gardens of Mardon, Moretonhampstead. Gardens open
    from 5.15p.m. so guests can take a picnic. Chairs or blankets needed to sit on - take your own

Saturday 19th July 9 'til 1.30p.m. Held on the third Saturday of every month Okehampton Farmers' Market, centre of the town around St James' Chapel square.The Market has 20 stalls of local foods & crafts. You will find pork and pork products, free range
  chicken, venison, ostrich meat and products, lamb, beef and game in season. Fresh fish (weather permitting) and beer. Luxury pâtés, cheeses, preserves, honey, apple juices and cider. Bread, cakes and chocolates. Vegetables and fruit in season. Free range eggs, yogurt. Herbs, herbaceous and perennial plants.
