Real meat beefburger at the Drewe Arms in Drewsteignton, Devonperfectly cooked fillet steak on a plate at The Drewe Arms in Drewsteignton.
The Drewe Arms at Drewsteignton is just a short drive from home for us and when we offered to take neighbours
June and Kenneth out for a birthday treat for June, she chose here out of the 4 suggested venues I gave to her.

Sad to say I am drowning in work at the moment and haven't got time for oodles of write up, and I didn't want to spoilmango cheesecake served as a pudding at the Drewe Arms in Devon.blueberry pudding at the Drewe Arms in Drewsteignton, Dartmoor.
June's birthday treat by continually bobbing around with the camera (although they have been endlessly patient to
me in the past whilst I have done just that) so I am just going to say that we did enjoy our meal. My fillet steak was absolutely done to perfection. I asked for medium rare and that is exactly what I got. See picture top right.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. Ricky who served us didn't mind a bit that we took the third of Kenneth's sausages home in a paper napkin for the dog. We were plagued by a couple of persistent flies in the restaurant, but hey this was one of the hottest evenings of the year. The Drewe Arms is listed on my stay at a pub page, and I can recommend the rooms. They also have bunkrooms for housing up to 21, should you be passing as a group of walkers....

As with all my food reviews, I ask the question - would we go again ? Sure would, and happy to recommend.

We spent £73.45 in total, on 4 main courses, 2 were fillet steaks, one 3 x sausages meal, one beefburger.
The bill included 2 puddings at £5.25 each and a very low drinks round at just over 8 quid.
