Here we see Sally and Terry, sisters holidaying in Devon who dropped in to say hello to us. Terry uses my website frequently to find good accommodation on Dartmoor and kindly gives me some useful feedback. They came and had coffee and flapjack with us this morning, and then the three of us walked to the Fingle Bridge Inn for lunch. Rob joined us for the meal and then drove us home. This pub is in the most beautiful setting. It has no through traffic and is a popular mecca for serious walkers, as it is on the Two Moors Way.

A blackboard offers daily specials. I took a tasty cheesy pasta with leeks which came with garlic bread, and the other 3 took the steak pie option. Sunday luchtimes are very busy at the Inn when a popular carvery is in place.
I mean to give it a try. Will get back to you with my findings.

I have covered 3 happy wedding receptions at the Fingle Bridge.
It is the perfect Dartmoor setting for photographs.
