Even on cold days, there is something for youngsters to be doing at Castle Drogo near to Chagford. Young Molly Gingell aged 6 from Crewkerne was at the Castle on a snowy day when conducted tours of the roof had to be cancelled due to slippery conditions and health and safety issues. Not to worry... as with any National Trust property, activities for children were all arranged, and at Castle Drogo there is a detective trail to have a go at. Each child receives a prize as they leave the
property. Young Molly had a good time looking for the answers to clues in the puzzle.Back at the reception cafe any chilly youngsters could cheer themselves up with a children's menu box, like these two poppets above Megan and Sophie.
