Hello and welcome to Dartmoor Accommodation, a totally independent website run
for over 11 years by me Jill Pendleton. Housewife, keeper of hens, photographer.

I live near to Chagford where my husband and I started a bed and
breakfast in 1984. For 3 years I ran the Tourist Information in Chagford.
I love Dartmoor and know the many hotels, bed and breakfasts, holiday
cottages and campsites you will find within these pages. During my time at
the Chagford Tourist Information centre I was christened 'The fount of all
knowledge'. But I am always learning new and fascinating things about this
incredible National Park that is Dartmoor.
