Hello and welcome to Dartmoor Accommodation.

It's a totally independent website run for over 12 years by me Jill Pendleton. Housewife, keeper of hens, photographer.

I live near to Chagford where my husband raised our kids and I ran a bed and breakfast from 1984 to 1996, when we took on a barn conversion project, which also became a bed and breakfast when the work was finished.

For 3 years from 1997 to 2000 whilst the brunt of the barn building work went ahead, I set up and ran the Chagford Tourist Information centre in town.

I love Dartmoor and know the many hotels, bed and breakfasts, self catering cottages and campsites you will find within these pages.During my time at the Tourist Information centre I was christened 'The fount of all knowledge'.
But I am always learning new and fascinating things about this
incredible National Park that is Dartmoor.
