There is a menu for children at this pub/hotel in Bovey. There is a family room on offer for £85 with tv, hairdryer, tea/coffee making etc. Take a meal in the pub in the evening and nip upstairs to look in on the kids. the hotel also has a single room if you are bringing a teenager. We all know they would rather be in their own rooms dont we ?

There are family rooms at rear, and away from the road, at the Three Crowns Hotel. There is a playpark in Chagford. And the town has an outdoor swimming pool (with lifeguard).It's the oldest hotel in Chagford, and the only one with it's own parking. CLOSED whilst undergoing a classy renovation at present, but everyone in Chagford is looking forward with interest to the re-opening date.

There are two family rooms on offer at Lydford House. Nearby is Lydford Gorge National Trust location with lots of family events on offer. The granite way cycle route runs past the gateway.

Children of all ages are welcome at this hotel and the family room has a double bed and z beds, t.v, tea/coffee tray, hairdryer, free wi-fi. The hotel garden is good for hide and seek, plus board games in the sitting room and the hotel has a friendly attitude to children. Haytor Rocks are just up the road where youngsters can spot our wild ponies and tire themselves out climbing the rocks in the fresh air. Ask the staff about letterboxing.
