This cottage is one of 4 that the owner offers to holidaymakers. This one has 1 double bedroom and a bunk bedded room with a 2'6" wide bed and a proper drop sided cot with a travel cot available. All cottages share the use of a 29' long indoor pool. I have visited these cottages, and this one is what I would describe as cosy but adequate. This is a great place for young families to meet others. Babysitting is on offer. The website shows the good play area.

Children are most welcome at this property where babysitting is on offer along with cot, highchair and stairgate on request. I have yet to visit but I can see from their website that they are my idea of cheap and cheerful. Study the site well to check you understand the electricity charges. Free parking for 2 cars. Plus there is a washing machine and tumble dryer if you need it. Not far from Haytor Rocks, always some wild ponies to say hello to. Sandra will let your youngster feed the chickens and collect eggs, and it's not far from the south coast if you fancy a day at the seaside. Sandra has a much loved nephew aged 4, so she is happy for kids to stay. I really rate it.

This self catering cottage is just out of range of the tidy farm yard. The bathroom and bedrooms are on the ground floor with the sitting room and kitchen on top. With a generous kitchen which is ideal for a family to sit to the table together. The horizon has Bowerman's nose sat on the top and the minute children see it they want to go and climb. When they do, the reward is wonderful. Great views all around. The perfect place for a game of hide and seek. Juliette likes children. It's not a busy farm, just a small herd of beef cattle, so your offspring will not come in stinking of cowpats. Mind you. I cannot guarantee that!
