The single room rate £85. All prices include breakfast. With last minute reductions on offer eg £140 down to £95, so use the booking page without committing yourself, to see what is on offer.
2 miles out of Chagford offering a suite on the ground floor. Double and twin rooms too. Horse riding locally. I loved it. Very large garden with pond (toddlers and very young children would need supervision). The ground floor accommodation would be excellent for anyone in a wheelchair, provided the one step at the front door can be negotiated. It has especailly wide folding doors between the private sitting room and the double bedroom. There is a power shower in the bathroom, but it is within the bath, so here again, some thought must be given as to whether this is going to suit. Helpful owner keen for you to enjoy your stay.

New onto my website in October this year, I have yet to visit Eastwrey Barton, although I've driven past dozens of times and often thought what a perfect location for a hotel this is, high in the Wray Valley on Dartmoor's quieter side of the open Moorland.
The colours here in Autumn are just heavenly. It's a country hotel with evening dining and a licenced bar, gardens to enjoy the view and I have only heard good things about it. Please note that these are not my photos,
but as soon as I called in to say hello, I shall, of course, be adding some of my own.

At last I have paid Penny at Brook Farmhouse a visit. (Oct '11) and I absolutely loved it! Ancient thatched farmhouse full of charm. Homemade biscuits to have with your tea. Easy access into Exeter. I thought that it had only one bedroom on offer, but actually there are three bedrooms which Penny will only let to one party, so it is most frequently used just as a double. But apart from the huge main bedroom there is another spacious double and a child's bedroom, again with a double bed on offer. They share one bathroom, but a great space at the top of your own private, steep, charming staircase plus your own guest lounge.
