Perfect for family camping under cover! New on Dartmoor these shepherd's huts built at the farm are ideal for basic camping treats. Well insulated with lambswool straight off the farm, they come equipped with a fixed double bed, linen, utensils, crockery, a gas hob, hanging space, a sink with cold water, folding table and cool box. No extra charge for children. Small price to bring your dog £3 per night. An adjacent block for toilet, washing machine and use of the fridge. It's important to remember that if you take your dog onto a campsite for the night,
your tent walls and other tent walls are thin and if your dog barks,
it will wake other campers.
The large majority of dog owners are charming people who wouldn't dream of upsetting their neighbours at home. They know whether their dog will fit in.
My own dog, Topsy (left) would be a nightmare on a campsite as she
barks when she thinks anything is amiss, and I know that she would
be a right pain in the neck for other campers.
Do please consider your fellow campers if you are thinking about camping.
