Self catering holiday accommodation on Dartmoor

How many guests will be in your party ?

Our smallest choices for singles, honeymoons and twosomes or for 2 couples and small families of up to 4 in the party.

 

The sleeps 5 or 6 range with a photo showing a modern kitchen with washing machine in the run of units. The table has a multicoloured patchwork oil cloth in place.  The sleeps 7 to 8 range with a photo showing a formal sitting room with large comfortable settee in front of a large casement window which showas the garden beyond.
More spacious accommodation for the larger family or self catering for groups who like to holiday together.

 

A large contemporary kitchen in one of our self catering accommodations sleepings 9 to 12 guests.  The sleeps more range with a photo showing a swimming pool at one of the farms offering self catering accommodation.

For parties of 9 or more, we have some cottages that comfortably sleep over a dozen and some cottages at the same address. Perfect for families who wish to spend time together but sleep under their own roof maybe.

Self catering is perfect for folks who like their own company. Because once you have booked in and

been shown around your rented accommodation, you can organise the holiday to suit yourselves.

If you feel like a daily lie in, then get up when you want. Should you want to spend the day in front of the tv

watching Wimbledon for a fortnight then, go ahead. If on the other hand you like to be out and about taking in

the breathtaking Dartmoor scenery, then just saunter back to your holiday cottage whenever you please.
If you fancy calling into a local pub on your way home at night, most will provide a cooked meal up to 9 o'clock.
It's much easier to take children on holiday in self catering properties, and many lets welcome children, some

provide toys, dressing up clothes, a high chair, cots and in some cases a stair gate for toddlers.
Much better than trying to keep boistrous children quiet at the dining table in a bed and breakfast.
One of our larger cottages near to Ashburton has a wonderfully large garden with a pond for toy boats, a barbecue area and outdoor seating. Perfect for hide and seek in the garden, along with masses of indoor play space for a wet day.
