What a range of fresh ideas on show at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen in Bovey Tracey. Ceramics, glass, whatever the
current exhibition has to offer, and in February it was a heart fluttering collection of delicate paper fashioned
into the most original and eye catching pieces of art that you can imagine such as this dollar bill necklace above.
In the Guild shop there is lots to catch the eye and a perfect place to find just the right special Valentine gift
such as this beautiful vase with the clutching couple, in ceramics by Amanda Popham. I should love to own it.
Glass, ceramics, contempory art, paintings, sculpture, toys and good greetings cards are all here.
The terrace cafe is up some stairs, and should you need one there is a lift, along with good
sensible facilities throughout for the disabled .
Take it from me - it's worth a visit. Visit the Guild's website where you will find more on the artists and further
exhibitions in 2010. The River Bovey flows past the Guild and the bankside is the perfect place for a picnic.
