Friday 13th August. Sadly my lovely secretary Jane has left me. She was carrying out 2 part time jobs.
She worked for 2 or 3 days a week here with me and the other 2 or 3 days a week at a company down in Bovey Tracey where she lives with dishy fireman Pete. Unluckily for me the other boss offered her a 5 day week, and as she doesn't have to get the car out to get to work there, I can't blame her one bit for taking the job on. On some days in the Summer the drive through Moretonhampstead, battling against ultra modern German coaches, and Thompson lorries, she would arrive with an urgent need for an early coffee break. And by all accounts it's an interesting job too, so she goes with
my blessing. And to confirm that we were still all on good terms we decided to take ourselves off on a food jolly to
sample the fare at the Church House Inn at Holne. It's ok Jane I do forgive you !! Read more
