In aid of A 10 year old child suffering with severe Autism and mutilfocal epilepsy.

Because his family want to raise money to send him to Mongolia for Horse Therapy.

The coffee morning is from 10 to 12 noon.

Everyone is welcome.

Sunday 8th August RIBBONS AND BELLS, ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALLThis is the 33rd Festival of folk at South Zeal on Dartmoor. Starting at teatime on Friday and closing with a final Grand Music Hall on Sunday evening with artists galore. Kerr Fagan Harbron, Tom McConville, David Newey, The Bagpuss Show, Speakeasy, The Askew Sisters, Housewives Choice, Nick Wyke, Becky Driscoll, The Cornwall Songwriters Show, Cornish Lads, Craig Johnson & Grandad, the wonderful Dartmoor Pixie Band, Tony Beard, the Wag from Widecombe, Dave Wills and lots of Morris dancers and Dance teams. Come along and squeeze a melodian, have a go at the accordian, take part in a dance workshop even if you are a complete beginner, learn to step dance, and meet new friends. Saturday 7th August Princetown Carnival starting with the dog show at 12 to include classes for best crossed breed, child handler, fastest bono eater and dog most like it's owner - a fun filled event, Majorettes, Carnival Royalty crowning ceremony, family races including the egg and spoon race, three legged race, Dads race, Mums race. Floats and walking entries in the Carnival which starts at 4.30p.m. Hog roast available all day. See you there!

A chance to see Vintage cars and cycles, Horse show, jumping gymkhama and showing, Carriage Driving, Engines and Tractors, a family dog show, rope making, thatching, and even brick making, Falconry display, craft stalls, rides and amusements, car boot sale, plant stall, licesed bar, cream teas + refreshments. The horse show starts at 9.30 and the Fayre will open to the public at 10.30.

Saturday 14th August Starting at 2p.m. Throwleigh Fete and Horticultural Show which this year sees the return of ferret racing and of course, the family dog show which is very popular. The vintage vehicles display grows in size every year, and there will be 2 magician shows during the afternoon.The horticultural section has flower arrangements, home grown produce, baking and preserves and wonderful home made and grown produce which are all auctioned off at the end. A great day out with something to interest all members of the family. Entry is free, stalls and side shows at Throwleigh Village Hall and adjacent field. A wonderful location with great views. Teas, beer tent and other refreshments are available.

Over 3 acres of steep hillside garden with stunning views of Haytor and Dartmoor. Arboretum planted 38 years ago of over 200 trees from all over the world, includes magnolias, camellias, acers, alders, betula and sorbus. Water feature. Major plantings of rhododendron and cornus. An ever developing garden with a stunning collection of rare trees and shrubs including many August flowering Eucryphia. Saturday 28th August CHAGFORD CARNIVAL THIS EVENING With celebrations in the Square from midday. The procession
a line of happy carnival participants. starts at 6pm. Walking and self propelled entries only. No motors. Super family fun.
