Up to Sunday 28th of February The paper works exhibition at the Devon Guild in Bovey Tracey during January 2010Don't miss the Paper Works free exhibition at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen in Bovey Tracey. Open 7 days a week, you will see some fascinating hand made objects made from paper.
10 to 5.30 each day, the cafe closing at 5. Find the Devon Guild at the lower end of Bovey Tracey. Disabled access.

Saturday 6th February Produce market on the 1st Saturday of each month at the Victory hall in Lewdown (between Moretonhampstead and Exeter) 10am to 1pm Stalls include Locally Baked Bread, Beef, Lamb, Pork, Poultry, Fish, Fruit & Vegetables, Herbs & Spices, Fresh Eggs, Tasty Local Cheese, Hand Made Fudges, Home made Preserves, Antiques and bric a brac.
Tuesday 9th February Each second Tuesday of the month is the day for the Manaton Market, where you can buy lots of local goods including cakes, puddings and pies, honey, fresh eggs, cheese, meat from local farms, pork, lamb, bacon,

Wednesday 17th February (During Half Term) Food producers at the Food Festival in Devon FREE event at Buckland Abbey the 5th Food & Drink Devon Festival. From 10.30am until 4.30pm to taste, test or buy from the delicious range of local treats available from 46 local food and drink producers. Goat's and other cheeses, tangy chutneys, preserves and delicious jams. Also on offer will be home made breads, cakes, pastries and chocolates, succulent sides of beef, pork, lamb and venison, superb homemade sausages, organic burgers, pates and pies. And to round off, fruit cordials, apple juices, ciders, wine and beer. Face painting, along with other entertainment for children, with free access to the Abbey’s grounds and trails.

Just thought you might like to know about some music in the Drewe on Monday night,if you don't already.Two professional musicians who live locally in Throwleigh, are putting on one of their first public performances in the area. They usually tour all over the country and the world, but are now going public in Devon!Susie Hodder-Williams will play flute and bass flute,Chris Caldwell will play soprano saxophone, tenor saxophone and bass clarinet.They will be playing on in the Long Room, 8:30pm start. £5 on the door, under 21s free!

Saturday 27th February 9 til 1 Tavistock Farmer's Market at Bedford Square. The markets take place on the 2nd and 4th.Everything on sale is produced locally and stallholders are the farmers, growers or producers themselves.

Saturday 27th February 3pm -5pm A Mad Hatter's Tea Party in the Baptist Church in Okehampton. To promote Fairtrade tea, scones and cookies. Also a Crazy hat competition all ages, judging starts at 3.30pm. There is no charge but a donation would be greatly appreciated.
