What's Happening On Dartmoor?

Find out what's on on Dartmoor through the year including Farmer's Markets, pub quizzes, amateur dramatics, a toy collector's fair, the Dartmoor Folk Festival at South Tawton, Chagford and Okehampton agricultural shows, exhibitions, folk evenings, jazz, National Trust events, carnivals, firework displays and scarecrow days.

Foodies can enjoy interesting curry nights and the Moretonhampstead Food Festival every March. If you're a sporty type, you won't want to miss Chagford's Two Hills Race or the National Bike Week in June. Those with musical talent should know about the Ashburton Blues Festival and various open mike pub nights.

​Chagstock Music happening is in Chagford during July. We have antique fairs, auctions, flower shows, gardens open for charity and guided walks. Charity events such as Sports relief Day, and the details for Dartmoor Discovery. Annual events such as May Day at Lustleigh, Easter egg trails, Halloween events, Bonfire Night and firework displays, Carnivals in early Autumn, not to mention Apple Day in October. St. Clement's Day and Christmas dates as well as theatres and cinema links.  Even a blacksmith day.
