Fancy trying your hand at a spot of kayaking or horse riding here on Dartmoor? Then this is the place. I'm amazed that Hannah and Luke can fit B&B into their lives as they are such busy people here at Lowertown Farm where the theme most definitely is conservation and caring for the land, Dartmoor ponies, trees, birds and local the local community. The 3 rooms on offer are a flexible mix, the largest one is a family room with a double bed plus bunks. Add to that a room that can be a double/twin or single AND another double all with good views. Plus a guest sitting room with log burner. Ok, so there are no flat screen TV's in the rooms, but with lots going on outdoors, some great pubs nearby for evening meals and all this fresh air you won't care because in the morning there will be the farm's fresh free range eggs for breakfast. Children are welcome to collect the eggs and feed the chucks.

Totally Dartmoor. Small privately run bed and breakfast couldn't be more central on Dartmoor. An excellent choice for walkers. Home made evening meals in the dining room, and I know that the food is good. Dogs are very welcome to stay too. They are used to taking people 'off the road' who want to stay overnight, and then stay on for longer and longer. I'm not at all surprised.
