There are 2 bathrooms: - The main bathroom with a shower over the bath, and the small bathroom, which has a corner toilet and studio bath, is built into the eaves of the house. Sloping ceilings and dormer windows give a clue to its former use as a row of barns. All bed linen and towels provided free. Oil CH/HW included, and free WiFi. The sunken patio has furniture and BBQ, and there is a second raised patio with table and chairs, as well as a bike storage area. Guests are very welcome to use the owners' garden. We are very dog friendly, and pets are free-of-charge. Enjoy the peace, watching the birds feeding at the bird table in the mornings, and gazing at the stars on a clear night, perhaps while enjoying a glass on wine on the sunken patio. Away from the Barn, there is lots do in this lovely area of Devon, from theme parks to waterfalls, castles to cream teas, ponies to steam railways and boat trips, gardens to zip-wires or canoeing. Route 27 of the Sustrans Coast to Coast cycle route is right outside the gate, and the track leading to the bridge over the river Tavy is also a bridle path. Bikes can be hired locally, and there are riding stables on the edge of the village for novice or experienced riders to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the saddle. There is something for everyone!

I went along to see inside them on a cold January day and was very impressed. They are modern, warm and spacious, light and spotlessly clean. Very swish indeed. Well equipped with everything from microwave to outside folding chairs to make the most of the relaxing verandah. Cox Tor has a family bathroom with shower and bath, and there is an en-suite shower room in the double bedroom. Electricity and bed linen included - just bring your own towels and tea towels. The kids will love the playpark and the riverbank. Everyone loves the resident ducks. Fly fishing available.
