With stylish interiors, sumptuous bed linen and cosy rooms Hollyberry Barn Bed & Breakfast is a hidden little gem offering luxurious accommodation, all set within one mile from the pretty town of Chagford. With breathtaking views overlooking Dartmoor it is the ideal base for exploring, walking, fishing, golf, horseriding or just to unwind, relax and enjoy some of the excellent pubs and restaurants in the area.
Old fashioned courtesy in a quiet country house. Lovely garden especially at rhododendron time. Off road parking, and an easy drive to Tavistock. The Peter Tavy Inn is just up the road for handy evening meals. Dogs by arrangement but not in the house.
David & John look forward to welcoming you to 'Overcombe House' their award winning guest accommodation that can be your sanctuary in Devon's delightful Dartmoor National Park. Their most popular rooms & their spacious breakfast room have stunning views over Dartmoor towards North Hessary Tor & Leather Tor.
Just a short drive off Dartmoor, Lobhill Farmhouse is a charming B&B. We visited in October 2010 and were very impressed with the house and what Jane has done with her home. It has a very fresh Country Living feel with welcoming touches throughout. There is a ground floor double room with it's own access which is ideal for a wheelchair.
Spreyton is just a five minute drive from the A30 dual carriageway into Cornwall. Jan and Dennis at The Cobbles love to share their wonderful home with guests. One plus factor they have is that the Tom Cobley Inn, famed in the Widecombe Fair song, is just a stone's throw away. 2 doubles, 1 ensuite and 1 with private bathroom, PLUS twin/family room with a private bathroom. Dogs stay free at this very dog-friendly bed and breakfast.
Number 5ifty 8ight is a new boutique bed & breakfast situated right in the heart of Tavistock, so is the ideal 'adult-getaway' as it is just 5 minutes walk to the local bars and restaurants in Tavistock. Jan and Mark offer a relaxing, indulgent and sumptuous stay, whether it be for a walking holiday, romantic break, a celebration etc. If you just want to get away from it all and chill out, this is the place for you. With that in mind they have chosen to offer facilities for “grown ups” only and they regret that they are unable to cater for “non adults” or pets.
Church Cottage is a 400 year old thatched cottage and is also home to The Walled Garden Tea Room and Bistro. Church Cottage offers two guest rooms both en-suite. During the summer months they do offer an extra double room known as the Vestry which is semi-ensuite. Breakfast is served in their dining room which looks out over the garden and beautiful Teign Valley. Evening Meals can be provided upon request, BYO wine as they are not licenced and no corkage fee applies - BONUS!
This quality 2 room bed and breakfast has breathtaking panoramic view across Dartmoor, Holwell Bungalow is an architects Eco design house, set in the Becka Brook Valley at the foot of Haytor. Each of the two newly decorated rooms has a larger than average en-suite, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, free sat TV and most important those guaranteed views over Dartmoor and their 23 acres of fields. Being believers of 'keeping it local' breakfast will consist of eggs from their own chickens and bread made fresh by hand. All welcome - walkers, cyclists or those just wanting to relax and unwind.
With views all around, this is a happy family house with pets and a country living lifestyle.... Say hello to 'Egg' the parrot, choose a good book and take a tray of tea into the garden. It's a place to relax. Legendary breakfasts cooked on the Aga. Walks up to Meldon Common with stunning Dartmoor views.
Barnabas House B&B is a beautifully restored Edwardian house in a peaceful location on the western side of Dartmoor National Park, close to cycling trails, National Trust properties and the beautiful Tamar valley, and within easy reach of the historic city of Plymouth. Relax in one of their spacious, clean and comfortable en-suite rooms, most with lovely views over Dartmoor.
Short toddle from centre of Moretonhampstead town. Perfect for bookworms as the house is stacked with great books. My idea of comfort. Guaranteed good breakfast as Victoria is a good cook. Victoria offers a single whenever available. This accommodation is not suitable for small children or any size dogs, sorry. Parking is on street or in one of 2 car parks within 3 minute walk.
I paid a visit to Penny at Brook Farmhouse and absolutely loved it! Ancient thatched farmhouse full of charm. Homemade biscuits to have with your tea. Easy access into Exeter. I thought that it had only one bedroom on offer, but actually there are 3 bedrooms which Penny will only let to one party, so it is most frequently used just as a double. Apart from the huge main bedroom there is a spacious double and a child's bedroom, again with a double bed on offer. They share a bathroom, but it's a great space at the top of your own private, steep, charming staircase plus your own roomy guest lounge.
Situated just 5 minutes from the A38 Expressway, Hartford Farm B&B is set in two acres so offers convenient yet charming surroundings. Don't forget to bring your swimwear as it has a lovely outdoor heated swimming pool available during the summer months. The B&B is very dog friendly and Dogs stay FREE
"Very special indeed. You will love the warm outdoor pool. Tor Cottage has 5 double/twin suites all to a very high quality. This luxury bed and breakfast has won many awards, and rightly so. It's a grown up treat of a place.
Dartmoor House overlooks the village green at Belstone, one of the best unspoilt villages on the Moor. Debra offers up to the minute bedrooms with freshly cooked breakfast using local produce. This is prime walking and cycling country, so there's a lockable bike storage area on offer too. Four bedrooms in total, Two ensuites. One kingsize and one twin room. All with tv, tea tray etc. The local pub is good for food.
Bed and breakfast in one of Chagford's oldest houses with loads of character. Beams and a real fire in an inglenook fireplace. Very pretty garden with far views to Kestor Rock. Short toddle into town and 4 pubs for good evening meals.
A wonderfully comfortable house for the bed and breakfast visitor. From the beautiful garden with stunning view, to the well sized bedrooms. Great farmhouse cooking at breakfast and evening meals.

Acorn Lodge is situated on the outskirts of Peter Tavy village near Tavistock in Devon and is within the Dartmoor National Park. It is a Bed and Breakfast with a difference as it is separate accommodation from the main house with it's own front door and has lots of space to relax and super facilities. It sleeps from 1 to 4 guests but is only ever booked to one party of family/friends so that you will always have the lodge completely to yourselves. We accommodate stays from one night to however long you wish to stay and single occupancy is also available.
