A glorious Devon cottage: huge fire, ancient spiral stairs, homemade juice, local bacon...with Dartmoor and the Cornish coast so close

Tuck yourself up in the peace and quiet of Paul and Penny's whitewashed, thatched cottage, surrounded by glorious countryside. Inside find your own charming sitting room with a huge inglenook, good antiques, fresh flowers, and comfy sofa and chairs; breakfast here on homemade apple juice, eggs from the owners' hens and delicious local bacon and sausages cooked on the Aga. Up the ancient spiral stone stairs is your warm, beamed bedroom with smooth linen, chintzy curtains, lots of cushions. You are near Dartmoor and can reach Devon beaches and the north Cornish coast; perfect for hearty walkers, birdwatchers, surfers and picnic-lovers.

Yes bring your dog, but be advised to give Penny a ring first as dogs are only taken on a 'by arrangement' basis. If you are nature lovers who enjoy rambling through hardly used, quiet farming lanes in the heart of Devon admiring the undulating countryside, with pheasants, owls, foxes, badgers - the whole gamut, then you will absolutely love it.
