Woody and Carolyn welcome you to The Kings Arms, a traditional local pub dating back to the 14th century.
They are open all day, everyday, offering a fine resting place for locals and visitors alike.
Their selection of Real Ales is accredited by CAMRA LocAle Scheme, they sell cider made on a farm less than 20 miles away and the food menu sources local produce for their homemade dishes wherever possible.
They serve good pub food every day of the week. Locally sourced, homemade, generous servings is what they are know for! Choose from their seasonal menu of traditional pub favourites or choose from their Specials Board if you fancy something a bit different. They serve food everyday, lunches midday to 2:30pm and evening meals from 6pm until 9pm. They also serve a Late Night Menu from 9pm til 10pm of pizzas, nachos, chips etc. Bookings recommended.
For the Real Ale lovers out there, The Kings Arms are featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2017. The long single bar has four handpumps in use all year round, with two regular changing guest ales usually from the vast selection of West Country brewers. For Gin lovers the pub has a wide range of Gins - 23 to date!
The pub is a very popular meeting place, particularly during the Dartmoor Folk Festival in August. They hold regular live music events and pub quizzes.
Dogs very welcome.
