The Old School Cottage retains its charm with arched windows and modern interior. The original bell is still sited in the bell tower. Private access is through the 'Girls & Infants' entrance. The Old School is ideally situated for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Whether you are here on business or for pleasure, we will strive to ensure that you feel at home, and make your visit as memorable for you as possible. The cottage consists of the following accommodation: Ground floor – open lounge and dining area with shaker style kitchen, wooden floors throughout, double shower room with toilet & basin. First floor - large double bedroom (king size bed) and 1 twin bedroom. The lounge also has a sofa bed (5' double).

The cottage is accessed through its own private ‘Girls & Infants’ entrance and retains its charm with arched windows and cosy modern interior.

Built in 1875 The Old School retains plenty of character together with its original bell tower and internal wooden beams.  They claim to be 'Quite possibly the best and tastiest breakfast in the whole of the Southwest!' Kick start your day with fresh filtered coffee or tea (including infusions) and a full English breakfast or whatever variation you like! We have a wide selection of cooked breakfasts so spoil yourself!

Ancient and remote with glorious views, a comfortable house that sleeps 14 – and toddlers too. It's the sort of place where you long to pull on your boots or jump on a horse and head for the horizon. This historic 400 year old Manor House, forms part of the 6 Manors of Widecombe. This important Manor has been in existence since early medieval times. It is situated half way up the hill in an isolated and quiet position, yet is within easy reach of local amenities. The views across Dartmoor and Widecombe are among the best in Devon. The property is set within its own grounds of about 30 acres and has direct access to the moor, some of which belongs to the property.

Great Bidlake Manor is an outstanding, Grade II* listed manor house on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, a mile from Bridestowe, recently renovated to a luxurious standard in partnership with English Heritage. It has been the ancestral home of the Bidlake family since 1268 and was rebuilt around 1594 in the Elizabethan style. The estate was once vast, but Henry Bidlake, a Royalist, sold parts of the estate during the English Civil War to pay fines to Cromwell. Charles I reputedly stayed at Great Bidlake in 1644.

Lowertown Farm, a 93 acre working farm sits nestled in a valley in the heart of Dartmoor, where a peaceful walk can take you from the top of Blackator to the banks of the River Dart through gorgeous wooded paths and winding country lanes. When Luke and Hannah Fursdon opened a Bed and Breakfast in their 500 year old farmhouse in 2009, these were just some of things they were excited to share with guests.
