The Gym Bar at The Edgemoor Hotel The Gym Bar at the Edgemoor Hotel has a huge array of drinks for you to choose from. Heather, one of the owners, loves gin and as a result, has collected the widest variety of gins in probably the whole of Devon. There is also a huge range of the finest wine, beers and soft drinks for you to slurp whilst sat by the fire or playing chess with your friends. Built in 1879, The Edgemoor Hotel was once Bovey Tracey Grammar School for boys and walking around it, the history is still very much alive today.

Recently refurbished The Dartmoor Halfway Inn is situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park (A383), a few miles west of Newton Abbot.

An idylic site, surrounded by green fields and woodland, with the River Lemon flowing alongside.  The site is a perfect setting for a relaxing break, nearby walks and exploring the National Park and nearby villages etc.

We pride ourselves on our warm welcome, whether you are camping with us, dining in the Inn or staying in one of luxury bedrooms. 

The Burrator Inn Substantial pub on the road between Yelverton and Princetown, close to the picturesque Burrator Reservoir. It has several rooms including a separate dining room, plus a pool table and two dartboards. Home-made food and pies use ingredients from local suppliers are served throughout the day. There is ample parking and a large enclosed beer garden incorporating a children’s play area. Wild Birds of Dartmoor Photography Workshop The workshops will be within the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England, using Acorn Lodge as a base and will be for all levels of photographers who want to learn real wildlife photography. The photography workshop package includes as much as possible to help you learn and improve all the aspects of being a wildlife photographer from using your camera, through the picture taking process, to the end image and post production workflow.
