The Explorer Public House is right in the heart of Tavistock, (formerly the Ordulph). It re-opened under new ownership in November 2017 and Paul and Stephen from The Dining Room have put their homely and welcoming touch to this traditional pub. Substantial pub on the road between Yelverton and Princetown, close to the picturesque Burrator Reservoir. It has several rooms including a separate dining room, plus a pool table and two dartboards. The Kings Arms is a freehouse, allowing them to offer a good variety of real ales and ciders. Their regular ales are Dartmoor Brewery’s Dartmoor IPA and Legend; and their local cider is Devon Mist from Sandford Orchards.
